CLEVELAND CARMACK LEONARD
1907 - 2007
Cleveland Carmack “Mac” Leonard passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at the age of 100 years.The son of the late William Z. Leonard and Clara Boyd Leonard, Mac was born on November 25, 1907 in Sweetwater, Tennessee.He was united in marriage to Wilma Reason in Chandler, Oklahoma and to this union six children, Johnny, Mary, Jim, Bob, Jack and Woodrow were born. Wilma preceded him in death on January 13, 1989.He was affiliated with the Baptist Church; he enjoyed working in his shop, inventing different toys and gadgets; playing dominoes and spending time with his family and friends.Survivors include his children, Mary Solomon of Cushing; Jim and Jack Leonard, both of Cushing; Bob Leonard of Stillwater; and Woodrow Leonard of Woodward, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son Johnny and ten brothers and sisters.Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fairlawn Cemetery with Reverend Robert Whisnant, Pastor of the Cornerstone Lighthouse Church in Drumright, officiating.
