BILLIE JEANNE LAIR
1942 - 2008


Billie Jeanne Herring Lair, Chandler, Oklahoma resident was born on September 8, 1942, in Agra, Oklahoma, and departed this life on July 24, 2008, at her home in Chandler, Oklahoma, at the age of 65 years.
Billie was the daughter of William A. and Ruby H. Greenfield Herring. Billie married Woody Lair on June 2, 1960, in Parkland, Oklahoma.
She was a homemaker and a member of Parkland Church of the Firstborn.
Her parents, husband and one sister, Beverly preceded Billie in death.
Survivors include her sons, Scott and Stacy Lair of Chandler, Oklahoma and Don Hartsoe of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; daughter, Shena Mitchell of Chandler, Oklahoma; sisters, Beth Molloy of Agra, Oklahoma and Margie Marshall of Sacramento, California; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren as well as other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at Parkland Church of the Firstborn, Parkland, Oklahoma, with Bro. Richard Wright officiating.
Burial will follow at Parkland Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
