MICHAEL LEE KLINE
1943 - 2014
Michael Lee Kline was born August 2, 1943 in Cushing to Carl Fredrick Kline and Clara Mae Seaba. He passed away May 22, 2014 in Chandler at the age of 70.Mike worked for a short time with OG&E and later owned and operated a backhoe service before working as a dairy farmer for most of his life until he retired.He loved coaching little league baseball. His community service included a leadership role with the local 4-H club, serving on the school board at Sparks as well as the board of the Rural Fire District at Sparks and board member of the Oklahoma Farmers Union.Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Clara; daughter, Marcia {Kline} Ebers; two grandchildren, Skyler Dalton Ebers and Kara Danae Ebers.Survivors include his wife of almost 51 years, Carol {Grove} Kline of the home; children, Dana Michelle Slayton and her husband Gary of Chandler; Micheal Seth Kline and his wife Tammy of Chandler; son-in-law, Robert Ebers of Chandler; six grandchildren, Melissa Newport and her husband Alex; Ashley Slayton, Matthew Slayton, Kandren Ebers, Garrett Kline, Cooper Kline; two great grandchildren and one on the way, Beau Newport, Jett Newport; brothers, David Evans, Steven Evans; sisters, Karla Wright, Kim Evans; and many other family and friends.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at the White Dove Cemetery in Sparks.Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
