Shirley Ann Pirkle Kirkpatrick was born February 28, 1943 in Tryon, Oklahoma to Eric Carl and Annie Louella Funnel Pirkle. She passed away January 7, 2013 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 69.Shirley was a life-long resident of Lincoln County growing up in Tryon and graduated from Tryon High School.She was a dairy farmer for many years until she became a home healthcare provider.Shirley loved her friends and her animals, especially her goats and dogs.Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raymond Goff and John Pirkle and sisters, Betty Pirkle and Pauline Emerine.She is survived by her husband, James Kirkpatrick of Chandler; son, William Gerald Harless, Jr. of Oxnard, California; sister, Marie Fulwider of Midwest City; and brothers, Frank Pirkle of Granite Bay, California, and Marion Goff of Redding, California.Funeral services for Shirley will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
