LUCY GERALDINE KIMBLEY
1929 - 2013


Lucy Geraldine Wilkerson Kimbley was born on May 22, 1929, in Meeker, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August 28, 2013, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 84.
Lucy, the daughter of Warner and Murrel Wilkerson, was a resident of Meeker.
She married Wayne Robert Kimbley on December 31, 1947, in Meeker and he preceded her in death on January 19, 1989.
Lucy was a member of the First Christian Church at Meeker.
She retired from the Wilson Packing Plant following 25 years of service.
Lucy loved fishing at Eufaula Lake and later enjoyed striper fishing at Lake Texoma.
Her parents; her brother, Billy Wilkerson and her sister, Learline Bowen also preceded Lucy in death.
Lucy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Johnnie and Marilyn Kimbley of Meeker; grandchildren, April and Chris Jones of Meeker, Jennifer and Jason Hessman of Meeker and Kevin and Tanna Armitage of Edinburg, Texas; seven great grandchildren, Aiden and Tyler Hessman, Astin and Braden Frazier, Zach and Carson Jones and Cole Armitage; three brothers, Jerry Wilkerson of Meeker, Jimmy Wilkerson of Kansas and Robert Wilkerson of Meeker; two sisters, Bobbie Bowen of Meeker and Leota Ward of Meeker; and many other friends and family.
The Kimbley family will receive friends at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Meeker on Friday, August 30, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on August, 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church in Meeker, Oklahoma with Pastor Joe Jones officiating.
Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
