1955 - 2016
Robert “Bob” Eugene Janeway was born on February 2, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 61.
Bob, the son of David Janeway and Rose Hardesty Callahan, was a resident of Shawnee.
He married Ramona Stich on April 8, 1977, in Tulsa.
He was an ordained minister and held the position of Associate Pastor at Family of Faith in Shawnee.
He loved guns, OU football, fishing, doing research and tinkering. Bob was very loving and giving; he was always available to help anyone in need and ever wearing a smile on his face.
Bob’s parents preceded him in death.
Bob is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ramona Janeway of Shawnee; son, Evan Robert Janeway of Shawnee; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Frank Rudd of Glenpool, Celeste and Scott Townsend of Bartlesville, and Denise and Frank Torrealba of Tulsa and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., at Family of Faith in Shawnee with Dr. Sam Matthews officiating.
Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.
