1943 - 2007


CHILD DIES IN AGRA ACCIDENT
Melvina Sue Howard, seven-year-old daughter of Melvin and Betty Howard of Hennessey, died in an automobile accident five miles southwest of Agra Sunday evening.
Services were Wednesday at Agra Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Hefley officiating.
Burial was in Osage Cemetery.
Melvina was born July 5, 1954 at Colby, Kansas.
She was a student in the Hennessey school system.
She and her family were visiting relatives in Agra. The accident occurred about 4:30 p.m. Sunday involving one car. Driver was the child's aunt, Miss Ann Martin who suffered cuts about the face. Another child received bruises, but there were no other serious injuries.
