PEGGY JO HOPKINS
1938 - 2016


Peggy Jo Hurst Hopkins was born in Warwick, Oklahoma December 8, 1938 to Ray Wilbur and Elva Armenda Ulrich Hurst. She passed away August 20, 2016 in Chandler at the age of 77.
She married Robert Lloyd Hopkins on May 27, 1956.
Peggy babysat for most of the neighborhood children from 1998 through 2012.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Lloyd Hopkins, son, Danny Ray Hopkins and siblings, Bobby Lee Hurst, Billy Hurst, R. J. Hurst, Bonnie Rattray and Marie Kemble.
She is survived by her son, Mark and his wife Elizabeth Hopkins of West Columbia, Texas, granddaughter, Samantha Hopkins, great-grandchildren, Kateana, Elijah and Mila Hopkins all of Phoenix, Arizona, brother, Don Hurst and his wife Rosetta of Shawnee, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2016 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
