1952 - 2010


Paula Elaine Friend Hoffman was born on October 29, 1952, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, November 1, 2010, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 58.
Paula, the daughter of J. D. and Lillie Jean Behrnes Friend, was a resident of Prague.
She graduated from Prague High School with the class 1970.
She married Dave Lee Hoffman on December 4, 2000 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Paula was a homemaker and a member of Sharon Baptist Church in Shawnee.
Her parents preceded Paula in death.
Survivors include her husband, Dave Lee Hoffman of the home; sons, Kevin Ross of Shawnee and Chad Hoffman of Midwest City; daughter, Amber Hoffman of Midwest City; grandson, Nathan Hoffman; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Carol Friend of Prague, George Friend of Prague and Jerry and Mary Friend of Prague; sisters and brother-in-law, Patsy Whisenhunt of Prague, Kathy and Brent Cooper of Tulsa.
The Hoffman family will receive friends at Parks Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday, November 4, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Sharon Baptist Church in Shawnee with Rev. Clint Dawkins officiating.
Interment will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole County.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
