Vorsie May Chastain Hill passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 in the Easter Hospital in Muskogee Oklahoma, at the age of 71 years.The daughter of the late David Harley and Ruth Irene Miller Chastain, Vorsie was born on August 6, 1942 in Cushing Oklahoma.She was reared and educated in the Cushing area, graduating from Cushing High School in 1960.Vorsie married the love of her life Ed Hill; they enjoyed each other's company until Ed's passing.She enjoyed being outside in the garden and planting flowers, most of all she loved her dog, Bear who she has with her even this day.Vorsie is survived by three brothers, Harold Chastain, Troi Chastain and Herb Chastain; one sister, Nyokoa Gass, and many other relatives and friends.In addition to her parents, Vorsie was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Hill; two sisters, Joyce Beets and Peggy Twoguns and one brother, Earl Chastain.Graveside services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing and will be held at 1:00 p.m., at the Flynn Cemetery, Thursday, February 27, 2014.Condolences and an online guestbook are available at www.PalmerMarlerFH.com.
