IVAN THEODORE HERROLD
1904 - 1998
Ivan Theodore "Ted" Herrold, 93, died in Midwest City Friday, April 17.He was born June 14, 1904, in Indian Territory near Luther to Victor and Mable Simpson Herrold.He married Rubye Ione Cook on April 7, 1928, in Winfield, Kansas.He was a retired farmer and also worked many years for True Fresh Egg Company, Jones.He was member of the Church of Christ, Luther.He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.He is survived by his wife, of the home; two sons, Ralph C. Herrold, Luther, and Ivan T. Herrold, Jr., Midwest City; six daughters, Lola Mae Spriggs, Del City; Barbara Jean Barnard, Shawnee; Marilyn Winans, Oklahoma City; Carolyn Metz, Higgington, Arkansas; Bonita Tucker, Dallas, Texas; Darlene Hale, Oklahoma City; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends.Services 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Wellston Church of Christ with Ken Murrell officiating.Burial will be in Wellston Cemetery.Published April 19, 1998.
