1955 - 2014
Carl Leroy Harris was born February 20, 1955 to Lee Roy Harris and Lillie Mae Womack Harris.He passed away February 28, 2014 in Luther, Oklahoma.Carl graduated from Luther High School. He married Mary Winford on February 18, 2012.He worked for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for nearly 18 years and loved spending time with family and friends, fishing and gardening.Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Lille Mae Harris and his brother, Henry Franklin Harris.Survivors include his wife, Mary Lu Winford-Harris of the home; daughter and son in law, Brandi and Kevin Prindall of Midwest City; son, Cole Harris of Midwest City; three grandchildren, Lorelei, Noah, and Gabriel of Midwest City; two brothers, Anthony Harris of Luther; Randy Harris of Wellston; three sisters, Liz Simon of Chandler; Sarah Warner of Luther; and Esther Patterson of Wellston along with a host of other relatives and friends.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the Open Door Assembly of God Church in Luther with interment following in the Star Valley Cemetery in Chandler.Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
