CLIFTON HOGAN HANCOCK
1919 - 2004
Funeral services were held Monday, January 19, 2004 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wellston with Rev. Andrew Eckert officiating.Clifton was born October 24, 1919 to Harvey and Maude Oaks Hancock and died Thursday, January 15, 2004 at the age of 84.He was in the U. S. Army Air Corps and worked for Tinker Air Force Base where he retired as an aircraft mechanic.He also worked as a reserve deputy for the sheriff's department in California.He married Beatrice in October 1945 and she preceded him in death. He later married Jean Tears.He was preceded in death by his two wives, his parents, two brothers and three sisters.Survivors include one son, Ivy Gene Hancock and one daughter, Flo Hancock; one granddaughter; one great granddaughter and a host of family and friends.Burial followed at Wellston Cemetery under the direction of Browns Funeral Parlor of Luther.Published January 22, 2004.
