LEE L. HALL
1926 - 2009

Funeral services for Lee L. Hall are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Christian Union Church in Tryon with Mr. Ted Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Tryon Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater.
Mr. Hall was born on September 1, 1926 in Tryon, Oklahoma to Arthur Hall and Mary Breeden Hall.
He attended school at Pleasant Valley and Sandyland and graduated from Tryon High School in 1944.
In December of 1944, he entered the United States Army and was stationed at Camp Chaffee, Arkansas during basic training. From Camp Chaffee, he went directly into active duty in World War II, proudly serving his country overseas. Lee was honorably discharged from the Army in December of 1946. After the Army, he went to work in the oilfield for several different companies.
On August 16, 1952, he married Paula Sue Mills and to this union, two sons were born, Lance Paul in 1955 and Brent Allen in 1958. She preceded him in death in 1977.
On December 29, 1978, Lee married Leota Jean Murray Williams in Tryon, Oklahoma. With this union, he added two step-sons, Kenneth Williams and Brad Williams and a step-daughter, Nancy Williams, whom he helped raise and thought of as his own.
In November of 1963, Lee went to work at Tinker Air Force Base where he remained employed until his retirement on December 31, 1987.
Even after his retirement from Tinker AFB, Lee never really retired. He was always busy with something. Farming and taking care of his cattle were a joy to him. He was still running cattle even though his health declined in the last few years. Lee loved spending time with his family and was always thrilled when the kids and grandkids were around.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Mary Hall and his first wife, Paula.
He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Leota Jean Hall; two sons, Lance Hall and his wife, Janet and Brent Hall and his wife, Lisa all of Tryon; one daughter, Nancy Pope and her husband, Troy of Woodward; two step-sons, Kenneth Williams and his wife, Barbara of Tryon and Brad Williams and his wife, Helen of Wellston.
He also leaves behind grandchildren, Stephanie Pittser, Gerad Hall, Jodi Ortega, Carly Harris, Logan Pope, Kameron Pope, Wyatt Pope, Tyler Williams, Kyle Williams, Tara Meyer, Erin Sunday, Jamey Williams, Brian Williams, Jessie Donivan, Tiffany Novotny, and Dawn Yates. He was also blessed with 20 great grandchildren.
