GEORGE EMMETT HALE
1916 - 2000


Parkland resident George Emmett Hale, 84, died Tuesday, November 21, 2000, at the Pioneer Nursing Home in Seminole.
He was born in Parkland September 8, 1916, to Irvin and Elizabeth Fish Hale.
He lived in the Parkland area all of his life.
He married Ethel Louise Matthews in 1940. She died in 1982.
Mr. Hale worked in the oil fields.
He loved to hunt and fish.
In addition to his wife he was predeceased by his parents, two sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include numerous nephews and nieces.
Graveside services, with Brother Jerry Dowe Pruitt presiding, will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Parkland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Arrangements are under the direction of Palmer Funeral Home of Cushing.
