ALMA CHARLENE HAGGARD-SKIDMORE
1930 - 2014
Alma Charlene McCamey Haggard-Skidmore, Wellston, Oklahoma, resident was born on April 1, 1930, in Wellston, and departed this life on January 15, 2014, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 84 years.
Charlene was the daughter of Charles and Alma Coppage McCamey.
She was a devoted mother, and wife. Charlene loved to travel.
Her parents, three sisters, and first husband, Kenneth Haggard, and one grandson, preceded Charlene in death.
Survivors include: her husband Raymond "Skid" Skidmore of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Mary Ann Becker Haggard of Oklahoma City; and Alan and Carol Haggard of Edmond, Oklahoma; step-daughter and husband, Carol and Randy Wessel; two step-sons and wife, Dale and Gay Skidmore; and Michael Skidmore; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and eight step-great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014, at the Wellston Christian Church in Wellston, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at the Wellston Cemetery near Wellston. Rev. Brent Avery will be officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
