TWILA KAY THOMPSON GREGORY
1953 - 2008


Twila Kay Stevens Thompson Gregory, age 54 of Cushing, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at her home.
She was born on September 6, 1953 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Mary Greenfield Stevens.
She grew up and attended Shamrock schools through the 8th grade. Twila graduated from Drumright High School in 1971.
She was Baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on December 1, 1967.
Twila married Dwayne Thompson on April 15, 1972, he preceded her in death in 2002. She married Mark Gregory on February 16, 2005 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Twila enjoyed helping others and serving the Lord. She enjoyed painting and crafts. She liked working in her yard and loved spending time in her screened in porch.
She waited a long time to finally be a Granny and loved spending time with Kymberlin.
Twila is survived by her husband Mark Gregory of the home; daughters Chera Myers and husband Bobby of Cushing; Misty Giles and husband Caleb of Indianapolis; Hayley Thompson of the home; step-sons Anthony Gregory, Kendall Gregory and Trevor Gregory, all of Shamrock, step-daughters Kristin Gregory, Cheyanne Gregory and Marissa Gregory all of Ft. Riley, Kansas; sisters Carla Ellis and husband Jim of Morgantown, Indiana; Nesta Porter and husband Bruce of Agra; mother Mary Stevens of Cushing; father-in-law Harley Thompson; parents-in-law Guy and Christine Chappell; and grandchildren Kymberlin Myers and Kesley Gregory.
She was preceded in death by her father Lloyd Stevens and her first husband, Dwayne Thompson.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, at the Church of the Firstborn in Cushing. Brother Phillip Pruitt and Brother Wes Easter will officiate.
Interment will follow at the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, Oklahoma.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
