Helen Irene Brezny Gregory was born on May 18, 1927, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, March 19, 2015, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 87.Helen, the daughter of Charles Joseph and Rose Mary Ruzicka Brezny, Sr., was a resident of Prague.She married Johnnie Phillip Gregory, Sr. on May 23, 1948, in Prague, and they remained married until his death in 1995.She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.Helen enjoyed reading, crocheting, doll making and baking Kolaches.Helen’s parents, husband and three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Johnnie and Sandra Gregory, Jr., of Choctaw and Tommy and Debra Gregory of Claremore; daughters and son-in-law, Kathy Crosson of Prague and Mary and Don Conner of Meeker; grandchildren, Jillian Michelle Gregory, Michael Joseph Gregory, Kyle Gregory, Kristy Birchfield, Jerry Orr, Jennifer Messer, Christopher Crosson, Erin Brown and Jeremy Coleman; great grandchildren, Zack Coleman, Zoie Coleman, Benjamin Brown, Dustin Orr, Gregory Orr, Dalton Messer, Kylie Messer and Paisley Crosson; great great grandchildren, Channin Orr and Grayson Orr; other family and friends.A wake service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague with Father Long Phan officiating.Interment will follow at the Catholic Cemetery in Prague.Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
