1945 - 2016
Ted Lewis Green was April 4, 1945 to Lewis Edward and Lucille Jewell Duncan Green. He passed away November 8, 2016 at the age of 71.Ted was born raised in Irvine, Texas.He joined the Army in 1965 and completed 3 years of active service as a Physician. After returning from the Army, Ted met and married Karla Brown on May 10, 1968 and together they raised two children.Ted was active as a youth baseball coach throughout his early years. He enjoyed playing golf, and loved working. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren whom he loved very much.He was a long-time member of Trinity Baptist Church in Wellston.Preceding Ted in death were his parents, son, Mike Green and brother, Jack Green.Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Karla, of the home, son, Jason Green and his wife, Elizabeth of Foristell, Missouri, siblings, Mike Green, Billy Green and Tony Green, twin sisters, Doris and Doloris Green and five grandchildren, Darren, Devin, Destiny, Talon and Tatum.A funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. November 11, 2016 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Wellston with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
