NOELIA MARTINEZ GREEN
1936 - 2015


Noelia Martinez "Nellie" Green, age 78, lifelong resident of Harrah, Oklahoma, was born December 3, 1936, in Taft, Texas.
She was the daughter of Jesus & Maria Martinez Sanchez.
She passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at home in Harrah, Oklahoma.
Nellie married Franklin Delano Green, Sr. on April 15, 1955, in Houston, Texas.
She was an accountant. She worked for the Oklahoma Tax Commission, Karen's Bookkeeping in Harrah and worked retail in the PX at various military facilities while her husband served in the military.
Nellie's hobbies included crocheting, reading, playing computer games and dancing. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. Nellie was a good cook and especially enjoyed making Easter Bunny cakes for her grandkids and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank, Sr., son, Bobby Ray, daughter, Belinda and sister, Edelia.
She is survived by her three sons and daughter-in-law, Joe and Carole Green, McLoud, Oklahoma; Frank Green, Jr., Harrah, Oklahoma; Jesse Green, Harrah, Oklahoma; three daughters and son-in-law, Virginia Green, Harrah, Oklahoma; Karen Wiggins, McAlester, Oklahoma; Tonyah and Joe Goenaga, Moore, Oklahoma; dearest friend, Pat Montoya, McLoud, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, JoeAllen Green, Melissa Green, Christina Statsmann, Corey Green and Patrick Green; eight great-grandchildren, Robert, Asher, Aurora, Faith, Jazmine, Nathaniel, Kylie and Kayla; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2015, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Smith Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, Oklahoma.
