MARTIN M. GREEN
1950 - 2006
Martin M. Green, Harrah, Oklahoma, age 55, was born on May 21, 1950, in Harrah. He was the son of Jim and Bertha Matapene Green. He left this life on February 7, 2006, in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Martin graduated from Harrah High School in 1968.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and retired from Tinker AFB where he was a supervisor.
Martin was a member of the DAV, the NRA, and the VFW. He enjoyed hunting, working on old cars and going to the lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Green of the home; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael Green of Harrah; Martin, Jr. and Evel Green of Harrah; two brothers, Raymond Green of McLoud; Megal Matapene of Harrah; one sister, Delores Stephon of Anchorage, Alaska; four grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2006, at the McLoud Kickapoo Friends Center, McLoud, Oklahoma.
Interment followed at the Kickapoo Cemetery, McLoud, Oklahoma.
Services under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
