Mary Luella Thompson Green was born on September 1, 1943, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 72.Mary, the daughter of Alfred R. and Mildred Luella Quary Thompson-Morrison, was a resident of Meeker.She married Bobby Dean Green on June 14, 1958.She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.She enjoyed her dog, Jim Bob, going to garage sales, crocheting, crafting, gardening and spending time with family.Mary’s parents, father, Curtis Morrison, father-in-law, Victor Green, mother-in-law, Lillie Green, brothers, Joe and Sidney Thompson, sisters, Darlene Clark and Deliah Coker, sons, Louis and Curtis Green and daughter-in-law, Joanne Green preceded her in death.Mary is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bobby Dean Green of the home; sisters-in-law, Donna Thompson of Shawnee and Dub and Patsy Gouker of Bethany; brothers-in-law, Dwayne and Treva Green of Michigan and Victor and Arnold Green of Georgia; children, Gary Green of Meeker, JoAnn Harper of Meeker, William and Tammy Green of Sparks; grandchildren, Justin and Jennifer Terrell of Prague, Jason Hickman of Cushing, John and B.J. Green of Meeker, Sarah Southerland of Yale, P.J. and Brandi Wilson Breazeale of Meeker, Misty Doughty of Paden, Michael Decker of Meeker, Brittney Green of Sparks, Baylee Green of Sparks and Brooklynn Green of Sparks; fourteen great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and many family and friends.The Green family will receive friends on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Gable Cemetery in Meeker with Steve Harper officiating.
