SIDNEY RAY GREENFIELD SR.
1944 - 2004


Sidney Greenfield, 60, Tryon, died Saturday, August 21, 2004, at his residence.
He was born May 17, 1944, near Chandler, to Claude and Ira Mae Jackson Greenfield.
He attended school at Agra, where he later met Betty Ann Pittser. They were married December 24, 1962.
He worked for Otasco as a mechanic and then as a groundskeeper for Oklahoma State University.
His parents, six brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, of the home; two sons and daughter-in-law, Sidney Greenfield II of Tryon and Paul and Mariesa Greenfield, also of Tryon; one daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Rodger Bodley of Woodward; six grandchildren, Shallon and Kelsey of Woodward; and Lisa, Anna, Thomas and Ryan of Tryon; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Shirley Greenfield of Tryon; Wayne and Marie Greenfield of Tryon; and Doye Greenfield of Cushing; one sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Jack Richardson of Sapulpa; and many other friends and relatives.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, with Brother Fred Britton officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler.
