GLENDA LUCILLE GREENFIELD
1943 - 2009
Glenda Lucille Box Greenfield, a Chandler resident, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at her home in Chandler at the age of 66.She was born on July 8, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas to the late William Auther Box and Sara Lou Ella Hicks Box.Glenda grew up in Wichita and attended school in Wichita.She married Bud Greenfield on June 4, 1960 in Wichita, Kansas. They moved to Chandler in 1971.She enjoyed reading. Glenda loved cats and animals in general.She was devoted to her family and opened her heart to anyone that was in need. She was always helping others.Glenda is survived by her husband Bud of the home; son Greg Greenfield and his wife Sheila of Chandler; daughter Tammy Schevetto of Chandler and her fiancé Rusty Deaton; sister Nadine Schoenhoff of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren Amanda Palmer and husband Curtis; Heather Schevetto; Morgan Schevetto; K.C. Wilson and husband Billy; and Ben Greenfield; one great grandson Kaleb Wilson; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Louie Box, Loren Box, Ray Box and Ben Box, and sisters, Jewel Gourley and Lovie Box.Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Parkland Church of the Firstborn. Brother Randall Wright and Brother Richard Wright will officiate.Interment will follow at the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, Oklahoma.Services have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
