HAZEL DELORES GILBRETH
1926 - 2011
Hazel Delores Edmonson Gilbreth was born June 11, 1926, in Meeker and departed this life Wednesday, February 16, 2011, in Shawnee at the age of 84.
Hazel, the daughter of Bob and Lewel Olive Vincent Edmonson, was a resident of Shawnee.
She married Delbert Trenton Gilbreth July 9, 1942, in Meeker. He preceded her in death December 20, 1996.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Barbara Gilbreth of Augusta, Kansas; Gene and Donna Gilbreth of Meeker; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Kay and Ray Cresap of Macomb; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Viewing and visitation will be at Parks Brothers Meeker Chapel from noon Friday until noon Saturday. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 19, 2011, at Oak Park Church of God in Shawnee with Pastor Leroy Kerbo officiating.
Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
