BONNIE JO PIERCE GIBLET
1928 - 2013


Bonnie Jo Pruitt Pierce Giblet was born October 12, 1928 in Chouteau, Oklahoma to the late B. A. "Brownie" Pruitt and Violet Gertrude Rodgers Pruitt.
She passed from this life on Saturday, April 27, 2013 in her home north of Agra at the age of 84 years.
Bonnie was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on June 9, 1941 at Parkland, Oklahoma by Brother Claude Greenfield.
On July 8, 1947 she was united in matrimony to A. J. “Bill” Pierce Sr. in Muskogee, Oklahoma. To this union were born two children, Wilma and A. J. “Curly” Pierce Jr.
The Lord called Bill home on November 25, 1974.
Bonnie later married Ray Giblet on October 5, 1975 in Cushing, Oklahoma. At this time another son, Spencer Giblet came into her life.
Sorrow came Bonnie’s way again when Ray answered the Lord’s call on May 11, 1987.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, four brothers, Doyle, Jimmy, Charles and Lester Pruitt; four sisters, Wanda Hamm, Violet Fern Carmichael, Marie Henderson and Corene Barrett.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter Wilma Hale and Mike Watkins of Agra, Oklahoma; two sons, Curly Pierce and wife Elaine of Cushing; and Spencer Giblet and his wife Amy of Cushing; three grandsons, Chad Hale and wife Chris of Tryon, Oklahoma; Travis Hale of Agra, Oklahoma; and John Giblet of Cushing, Oklahoma; one step-grandson Mitch Hatch and fiancé Teshera Frantz of Cushing; one step-granddaughter, Stefanie Hatch of Oklahoma City; five great-grandchildren, Eric, Brooklen, and Destiny Hale of Tryon; and Kaitlynn and Logan Hale of Cushing; one step-great-grandson, Ryan Hatch of Cushing; one sister, Naomi Farrow of Cushing; three brothers, Phillip Pruitt of Drumright; Johnny Pruitt of Elsberry, Missouri; and Jerry Dowe Pruitt of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives, brethren, and friends.
Graveside services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in the Flynn Cemetery, Cushing, Oklahoma with Brother Bud McFarlin and Brother Phil Pruitt officiating.
