1931 - 2016
Jimmie M. Fowble, longtime Agra resident, passed away on January 25, 2016 in his residence on his 85th birthday.Jimmie was born on January 25, 1931 to Oscar Fowble and Clara Withiam Fowble in Agra, where he was also raised and educated.He was united in marriage to Margaret Brassfield on June 9, 1956 in Cushing. To this union three children, Richie, Earl and Jimmie Leon, were born. Margaret preceded him in death on February 12, 1997.He enjoyed life and spending time with his family.Survivors include his son, Richie Fowble of Agra; daughter-in-law, Debbie Fowble of Covington; grandchildren, Jennifer Fowble, Brandy Fowble and Jason Fowble; great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Callie, Gage, Brylie and Briar and other relatives and friends.In addition to his wife, Jimmie was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmie Leon Fowble and Earl Fowble and two brothers, Melvin Fowble and Herbert Fowble.Graveside services will be Friday, January 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Tryon Cemetery.You may share your condolences with the Fowble family at www.davisfh.net.Services are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home.
