EDWARD BURL FARRIS
1942 - 2007


Ed Farris, a former Cushing resident, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years.
The son of the late Orville Marlon Farris and Velma Marie Fisher Farris, Ed was born on March 20, 1942 in Cushing, Oklahoma.
He was reared and educated in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School.
Ed was united in marriage to Linda Hammock in Miami, Oklahoma.
He had worked as an iron worker in the Structural Iron Industry and had resided in Oklahoma City for the past 12 years.
Ed was a veteran of the United States Army and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing in Oklahoma and Texas.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by two brothers, Orville Farris, Jr. and William Carol Farris.
Survivors include one son, John Farris and his wife Yavette of Foster, Texas; one daughter, Brenda Hammock of Houston, Texas; one brother, Don Farris and his wife Shelia of Cushing; two grandchildren, Trey Hammock and Stephanie Zourvec; and other relatives and friends.
