ELIZABETH EXENDINE
1925 - 2013
Elizabeth Grant Exendine was born in Avery, Oklahoma on December 15, 1925 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Friday, March 29, 2013 at the age of 87 years.Elizabeth was the daughter of Fred and Amelia Gokey Grant.She was a resident of Stroud for the past 30 years.She was a member of the Gloryland Baptist Church and worked as a Heath Care Worker.Elizabeth married Oliver Exendine in 1963 and he preceded her in death.She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sons, three brothers and five sisters.Survivors include two sons, Curtis Grant of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Shawn Exendine of Binger, Oklahoma, five daughters, Tammy Grant and Carla Mann, both of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Sandra Exendine of Stroud, Oklahoma, Sylvia Exendine of Pawnee, Oklahoma and Tina Exendine of Tulsa,Oklahoma, twenty four grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.Wake service will be at the Sac & Fox Community Center Sunday, March 31, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. with Brother Don Tiger officiating.Burial will be at the Sac & Fox Cemetery on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Stroud, Oklahoma.
