Joshua Jay Estes, 33 of Wellston, Oklahoma was born February 8, 1980 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Jay and Shirley Estes.He passed away on November 3, 2013 at his home in Wellston, Oklahoma.Joshua is survived by his parents, Jay and Shirley; wife, Chelsea; sons, Braxton Jay and Boston Jayce; brother, Scott and wife Carla; grandmother, Louise Estes; nephews and nieces, Rylinn and Brooklynn Estes, Makinlee and Maddox Metheny.He is also survived by an extended loving family of aunts, uncles and cousins.Joshua was preceded in death by his grandparents, Virgil Leon and Wilma Jean Overstreet and grandfather, James Jackson Estes, Sr.Joshua was an avid OU Sooners fan and loved attending their games. He enjoyed golfing and baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox. Those were his hobbies, but anyone that was around Joshua would know his true love and passion was spending time with his wife and playing with his boys. He loved being their daddy.Joshua was also proud of receiving a pin from the First United Methodist Church for sixteen years of perfect attendance in Sunday School.In honor of Joshua the family is requesting that OU attire be worn to his service.Visitation for Joshua will be held on Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Lehman Funeral Home, Wellston, Oklahoma.Family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday.Funeral services for Joshua will be conducted by Lehman Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Wellston Missionary Baptist Church with Dennis Osborn officiating.Burial to follow at Wellston Cemetery.
