1950 - 2016
Cecilia Ruth Emery was born on September 11, 1950, in Prague, and departed this life on Sunday, July 10, 2016, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 65.Ruth, the daughter of Francis Riley and Minnie Sekera Emery, was a resident of Prague.She was a Prague High School graduate. She continued her studies and obtained her Masters degree in education. She then dedicated her life to her profession of educating young people. Ruth touched and enriched the lives of her many students.Her parents, two sisters, Mary Josephine Emery and Clara Emery preceded her in death.She is survived by her sister, Cathy Tison; nieces and nephews, Becky Tison, Scott Tison, Gary Tison, Tommy Tison and Janell Fields; great nieces, and nephew Krista Tison, Shaniesta Clark, Brea Cleary, Nicole Cleary and Julian Cleary and other family and friends.A wake and rosary service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague.Mass will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague.Interment will follow at Czech National Cemetery.
