Lynda Jo Gallaher Edwards was born October 19, 1943 in Wellston, Oklahoma to Berlin "Jiggs" Gallaher and Clytell Vaughn Gallaher.She passed away Wednesday March 26, 2014 in Washington, Oklahoma at the age of 70.Lynda grew up in Wellston graduating from Wellston High School in 1961.She worked at the First National Bank of Luther for eighteen years and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, and cooking.Lynda was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter-in-law, Jimmie Dawn Edwards.Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Eulan Ray Edwards of the home; sons, Todd Edwards and his wife Amy of Georgia; Rodney Edwards of Washington, Oklahoma; daughter, Raelene Profit and her husband Marcus of Edmond; six grandchildren, Jordan Edwards, Kayla Edwards, Kevin Edwards, Lori Edwards, Perry Edwards, Ryder Edwards; and one great-grandchild, Presley Edwards; and many friends whom she cherished dearly.A funeral will be held Saturday March 29, 2014 in the Luther Auditorium, 18955 NE 178th St., Luther, Oklahoma 73054 with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
