DOUGLAS DUANE DOWD
1948 - 2011


Funeral services were held for Douglas Duane Dowd of Oklahoma City on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at the Sac and Fox Chapel in Stroud with the Rev. Hugh Butrick officiating.
Burial followed at Sac and Fox Cemetery, Stroud, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
Douglas Duane Dowd was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on November 5, 1948 and departed this life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on March 10, 2011 at the age of 62 years.
Douglas was a resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He was a member of the Church of God in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and worked as a truck driver.
He was preceded by his parents.
Survivors include one son, James Leon Dowd of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Angela Dowd of Oklahoma City; four brothers, Odell Maxwell Dowd of Oklahoma City, Lonnie Ray Dowd of Shawnee, Larry William Dowd of Midwest City and William Wesley Salyer of San Diego, California; five sisters, Cozzett Elizabeth Charboneau of Layton, Utah; Cathy May Charboneau of Oklahoma City, Alma Fay Northrup of Moore, Oklahoma, Viola Kay Allen of Oklahoma City and Trudy Renea Ferrell of Del City, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Demara, Brock, Gage and Kaylee; two great grandchildren, Keaton and Abriel as well as other relatives and many friends.
