Richard Lynn "Rick" Day was born on July, 9 1974, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday December 2, 2012, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 38.

Rick, the son of James and Janice Day, was a resident of Meeker.

He was a member of the Meeker High School graduating class of 1993, and attended church at Morning Star Baptist Church.

Rick is survived by the love of his life, his daughter, Samantha Lynn Day of Meeker, brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Stephanie Day of Edmond, one sister, Sherry Day of Meeker and many other family and friends.

A graveside service willl be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.

Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
