JO ANN DAVIS
1940 - 2011


Jo Ann Walters Davis was born on September 24, 1940, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 70.
Jo Ann, the daughter of Cecil Leon and Lois J. Fults Walters, was a resident of Oklahoma City.
She graduated from Paden High School with the class of 1958.
She married Melvin L. Davis on November 7, 1962 in Paden.
Jo Ann was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Her parents preceded Jo Ann in death.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Melvin L. Davis, Sr., of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Tabitha Davis of Newalla; grandchildren, Isiah Davis, Robert Phipps, Cody Phipps, Lenora May Davis, Britinii Davis, Deborah Conley and Kayla Marie Phipps; great-grandchildren, Preston Alan Conley and William Ray Conley and sister, Jean Eastep of Oklahoma City.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Prague Cemetery with Chaplain Ronald Cole officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
