1932 - 2006
JoAnne Ellison Davidson, Davenport, Oklahoma, resident, was born on October 10, 1932, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and departed this life on April 11, 2006, in Stroud, at the age of 73 years.JoAnne was the daughter of Oliver and Leora McBride Ellison.She married Charles Davidson in Reno, Nevada, on August 26, 1950.JoAnne was a homemaker and attended the First Baptist Church in Davenport.Her parents, one son, three brothers and one sister preceded JoAnne in death.Survivors include her husband, Charles Davidson of the home; two sons, Michael Davidson of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Robert Davidson of Alpine, Utah; three sisters, Lorraine Flower of Grants Pass, Oregon, Afton Gallhan of Newark, California and Joyce Johnson of Davenport; 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren as well as other relatives and many friends.Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Davenport with the Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating.Burial will follow at the New Zion Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Chandler.Published April 13, 2006.
