FRIEDA RUTH DAVIDSON
1916 - 1998
Meeker resident Frieda Ruth Harms Davidson, 82, died Thursday in Shawnee.
She was born on February 11, 1916, in Bessie to Bernhard Andrew and Karolina Voth Harms.
She married Charley Columbia Davidson on January 10, 1942, in Edmond.
She moved from Cordell to the Meeker area in 1967 and worked as a beauty operator.
She was a member of the Harold Mennonite Church, Bessie.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Phillip and Lynn Davidson of Hugo; and Jon Davidson, Meeker; daughter Jeanee Rutledge, Meeker; two daughters-in-law, Willean Davidson White and Shirley Davidson, both of Meeker; one sister, Carrie Baergen, Newton, Kansas; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, on January 9, 1983; son Daniel George Davidson, May 28, 1988; one brother; and two sisters.
Services held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, Prague, with the Rev. Cal Brannon officiating.
Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
