CLAUDIE L. DANKER
1923 - 1998


Wellston resident Claudie L. Danker died Saturday, April 4, in Shawnee at the age of 74.
Danker was born October 20, 1923, to William Fred and Estell Davis Danker.
He married Bonnie Bailey on May 15, 1946, in Chandler.
He worked at the Chandler Baseball Camp in maintenance for more than 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Danker of Wellston; three sons, Alfred Lloyd Danker and David Eugene Danker, both of Wellston, Vody Wayne Danker of Jones; two daughters, Loretta Stricken and Mabel Estelle Miller, both of Wellston; four brothers, Shirley Danker, Albert Danker and Herman Danker, all of Wellston and Earl Danker of Lone Grove; fourteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren and several other relatives and numerous friends.
Services 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Wellston High School gym.
Viewing is at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Wellston.
Burial will be at Wellston Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Chandler.
