MARY ELIZABETH CRUTS
1907 - 1998


Mary Elizabeth Wilson Cruts, 91, Norman, died Tuesday.
She was born September 27, 1907, in Broken Arrow, Indian Territory, the daughter of Roy and Clara Stephens Wilson.
She married Thomas Francis Green and he preceded her in death in 1953.
She married Earl G. Cruts and he preceded her in death in 1984.
She was a homemaker and worked as a postal clerk from 1949 to 1960.
She had been an elder, deacon, teacher and Ladies' Circle president at Meeker First Presbyterian Church and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Norman.
She also was a member of the Postal Clerks' Union and Order of the Eastern Star, Meeker Chapter 430.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her daughter, Ruth O. Clearley; two brothers, Woodrow Wilson and James Wilson; and stepson, Robert Earl Cruts.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Mayes Funeral Chapel, Norman, with the Rev. Dr. Robert Rice officiating.
Graveside service will be 12:30 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery, Meeker.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Norman.
