JOYCE MARIE CROSS
1936 - 2014


Joyce Marie Knoch Cross, long time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on September 28, 1936, in Wellston, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August 28, 2014, at her home in Chandler, Oklahoma, at the age of 77 years.
Joyce was the daughter of William Herman and Gracie Lillian Gilmore Knoch.
She married Robert "Bobby" Cross on April 12, 1954 in Davenport, Oklahoma.
Joyce worked as a seamstress for Deiner Mills in Chandler for many years and was member of the First Baptist Church in Chandler.
Her parents, husband, one brother and two sisters preceded Joyce in death.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-laws, Terri and Mike Lamb of Chandler and Cindy and Jimmy Howard of Chandler, two brothers, J.C. Knoch of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Troy Knoch of Fallin, Nevada, one sister, Wanda Hund of Joplin, Missouri, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at the First Baptist Church in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating.
Burial will follow at New Zion Cemetery in Chandler.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
