BARBARA ELIZABETH CRIESS
1937 - 2014


Barbara Elizabeth Pomeroy Criess was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on May 19, 1937 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the age of 76 years.
Barbara was the daughter of Agnes Lennon and Thomas A. Pomeroy Sr.
She was a Stroud resident most of her life.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Stroud and was a homemaker.
Barbara married Wayne Criess in Stroud on May 29, 1955.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Alan and two brothers, Tom and John Pomeroy.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne of the home; two daughters, Colleen Dickey and husband Larry of Stroud; Tina Winger of Clearwater, Florida; six grandchildren, Samuel Dickey, Zachary Dickey, Tiffany Hodge, Brianna Goddard, Kyle Winger and Trevor Winger; ten great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Stroud on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ashley Green-Young officiating.
Service in under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
