1973 - 2011
Kimberly Jane Corter Davidson, a resident of Cushing, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011 near Cushing, Oklahoma at the age of 37 years.The daughter of Wayne Corter and Ruby Jane Hamm Corter, Kim was born on December 30, 1973 in Goodson, Missouri.She was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on July 30, 1987 by Brother Ruben Henthorn in Bakersfield, California.Kim graduated from Agra High School with the class of 1992.She made her home in the Cushing, Ripley, and Tryon areas and had worked at the Maveric Mini Mart in Ripley and cleaned apartments in Stillwater.Her family will remember her beautiful voice that she shared while singing in church and how she loved to take care of her younger siblings. She also had a knack for working on her own vehicles, something she learned from her dad and she could light up any room with her bright blue eyes and her infectious smile. In her spare time she loved to cook and sing but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her children.Survivors include her husband Billy Davidson; four sons, Brian Pineda, Jacob Pineda, Angelo “A.J.” Pineda, and Cecil Davidson; two daughters, Jane Pineda and Breanna Pineda; father, Wayne Corter and his wife Shawn-elyn of Cushing; five brothers, Jeffery Corter and his wife Sheila of Enid; Tristan Corter and his wife Chrissy of Agra; Aaron Corter and his wife Jessica of Cushing; Adam Corter of Perkins; and Asher Corter of Cushing; two sisters, Sabrina McFarlin and her husband Tony of Tryon; and Delaney-Linn Corter of Cushing; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.Kimberly was preceded in death by her mother Ruby Jane Corter; grandparents Harvey and Geraldine Corter; and Joel and Wanda Hamm.Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 31, 2011 in the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn, Cushing, Oklahoma with Brother Richard Wright officiating.Burial will follow in the Flynn Cemetery, Cushing, Oklahoma.
