KATRINA C. CORNETT
1996 - 2016


Katrina C. Hargroves Cornett, lifelong Cushing resident, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 in Tulsa at the age of 65 years.
The daughter of the late J. D. Hargroves and Bessie Johnson Cooper, Katrina was born on October 19, 1950 in Cushing, where she was also raised and educated.
Katrina was united in marriage to Clarence Cornett, Jr. in July 1967 and to this union one daughter, Elisabeth, was born.
She was a member of the General Assembly Church in Cushing.
Katrina took great pride in caring for her home and family.
She had worked at Bill’s E-Z Out.
Survivors include her daughter, Elisabeth Helvy and husband, Charley, of Goodyear, Arizona; one brother, Donald Hargroves and wife Crystel of Tulsa; one sister, Jean Bustamante and husband, Vince, of Cushing; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; ex-husband, Clarence Cornett, Jr. of Cushing and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. Hargroves and Bessie Cooper.
Private family services were held on July 2, 2016 in the Parkland Cemetery.
