GERALD EDWARD CORBETT
1934 - 2008


Gerald Edward Corbett, age 73 of Agra, Oklahoma passed away on February 1, 2008 in California.
He was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on October 28, 1934.
He was the youngest child of Elmer and Mary Corbett. He had an older brother, Robert Corbett and an older sister, Florence Corbett.
At the age of four, his family moved to California where they settled in Woodland. He attended and graduated from Woodland High School in 1954.
In 1958, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he was an airplane mechanic. He was honorably discharged in November 1962.
He was a member of The General Assembly and Church of The Firstborn. He was baptized on November 7, 1961.
Gerald was married on June 15, 1963 to the love of his life, Miss Audrey Elaine Kent. From this union came four children, Rebecca Cullen and husband John Cullen of Clierfield, Utah; Candace Ross and husband Jack Ross of Rio Linda, California; Philip Corbett and wife Cheryl Corbett of Cushing, Oklahoma; and Paul Corbett and wife Heather Corbett of Rio Linda, California.
Gerald and Audrey were married 44 years. They moved to Cushing, Oklahoma in 2001.
He had fourteen grandchildren- - Crystal Watters and husband Tim Watters of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Dawn and Richard Corbett of Rio Linda, California; Chelsea, Elias and Edward Corbett of Cushing, Oklahoma; Cassandra McCracken with husband Russell McCracken of Rio Linda, California; John, Erika, Todd, and Melissa Ross of Rio Linda, California; McKenzye and Chase Corbett of Rio Linda, California; Kellie Melton of Sacramento, California; and one great grandchild, Seth McCracken of Rio Linda, California.
His hobbies and interests included hunting, fishing, some gardening, and pestering his kids and grandkids. He also loved visiting with good friends and his loved ones. He will be greatly missed.
