ALLEN DUANE COOK
1941 - 2000
Retired mechanic Allen Duane Cook of Tecumseh died Wednesday at his residence. He was 59.
He was born April 3, 1941, at Pawnee, the son of Clayton and Irene Cook.
He was raised and attended school in Pawnee and Chandler.
Allen was married to Phyliss Ragsdale for 26 years.
He served in the U. S. Army and had lived in Tecumseh for the past five years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bryan Cook; two children, Allen Cook Jr. and Brent Edward Cook; and a granddaughter, Lacy Leann Eaton Cook.
Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law, Alan Lee Cook, Shawnee; Darryn Duane Cook, Shawnee; Clayton Bryan and Christine Cook, Shawnee; two daughters and one son-in-law, Rebecca Jean Austian, Oklahoma City; Meggan Cathleen and Johnny Lowery, Tecumseh; twelve grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at New Zion Cemetery with the Rev. William H. Bentley officiating.
Services are under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
