KATHRYN ROSELL COLLINS
1927 - 2015
Kathryn Rosell Bales Collins, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born December 26, 1927, in Kendrick, Oklahoma, and departed this life on December 23, 2015, in Chandler, at the age of 87 years.Kathryn was the daughter of Calvin and Mary Holcomb Bales.She married Doyle Collins on March 11, 1950, in Chandler.Kathryn worked as a clerk at the Lincoln County Health Department for many years.Her parents, husband, and one daughter preceded Kathryn in death.Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Mark and Lauri Collins of Pineville, Missouri and James Collins of Moore, Oklahoma; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Jun Greenfield of Chandler and Gayle and Richard Thornton of Stroud, Oklahoma; one brother, Marion Bales of Davenport, Oklahoma; two sisters, Ruth McElroy of Davenport and Margaret Hoover of Chandler; fifteen grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 26, 2015, at the First Baptist Church, in Chandler, with Pastor Steve Polaski officiating.Burial will follow at Bethel-Greenwood Cemetery.Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Chandler, Oklahoma.
