OVIE MOLINE CHASTAIN
1921- 2010


Ovie Moline Raines Chastain was born on August 7, 1921, in Keokuk, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, December 6, 2010, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 89.
Ovie, the daughter of James Monroe and Sarah Ellen Marler Raines, was a long-time resident of Prague.
She married Thomas Deldon Chastain on July 25, 1962 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
He preceded her in death on January 9, 2000.
Ovie was a homemaker.
Her parents, six brothers, one sister, and two grandchildren also preceded Ovie in death.
Survivors include her daughters, Ellen Hannabach of Prague; Shirley Greenwaldt of California City, California; sisters, Lodema Morrison of Muskogee; Lorretta Kerr of Prague; Doretha Miller of Noble; Dretta Smith of Harrah; nine grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Little Cemetery in Seminole County with Pastor Joe Smith officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
