CLEO BYRD
1928 - 2015
Cleo Byrd, long-time Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, resident was born on February 5, 1928, in Sage, Arkansas, and departed this life on December 7, 2015, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 87 years.Cleo was the son of Clarence and Alma Dowdle Byrd.He worked for Mid Am Farms for many years.His parents, three brothers and one great-granddaughter preceded Cleo in death.Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Brenda Byrd of Oklahoma City and Allen Byrd of Oklahoma City; two daughters and son-in-law, Trish and Bob Gilpatrick of Chandler, Oklahoma and Brenda Page; three sisters, Veda Helm of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Helen Millwood of Nashville, Arkansas and Betty Milner of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 11, 2015, at the First Baptist Church in Chandler with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating.Burial will be follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler.Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
