BARBARA BURGER
1943 - 2007
Barbara Hart Burger was born December 16, 1943, in Enid to Walter and Mildred Baker Hart and died Tuesday, August 21, 2007, in Oklahoma City.She lived with her family in various places due to her father’s work.She attended school in Ponca City, Bethany and Yukon.She married Earl Burger June 25, 1960, in Burkburnett, Texas.They made their first home in Bethany and later moved to Luther. In 1971, they moved to Taloga, where she became a certified nurse aide, working many years as a home-health nurse.Surviving are her husband, Earl, of the home in Taloga; three daughters, Kim Baker and Spencer Knerl, both of Taloga; and Margo Bowers of Oklahoma City; one sister, Sharon Rhodes of Chester; one brother, Richard Hart of Enid; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by two infant sons, one sister and one granddaughter.Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for cancer research.Condolences may be made online at www.redingerfuneral home.com.Published August 23, 2007.
