NANCY LEE BROWN
1947 - 2010


Nancy Lee Meredith Brown was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on October 15, 1947 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the age of 62 years.
She was the daughter of Lee and Josephine James Meredith and was a resident of Stroud all of her life. She graduated from Stroud High School in 1965.
Nancy married Kenneth Brown on September 3, 1965.
She was a member of the Deer Creek Baptist Church in Stroud and worked for the Stroud Nursing Center for many years, had a home daycare for several years, worked at the Stroud Hospital as the Dietary Manager before the 1999 tornado. She was a volunteer of the First United Methodist Church and Stroud Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine, father and mother in laws, Cecil and Alta Brown, nephew, Brian Blaney and her brother in law, Johnnie Brown.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth of the home, three daughters and son in laws, Kim and Troy Beasler of Stroud, Oklahoma, Leah and Bryan Ackerman of Stroud, Oklahoma and Sheila and Shannon Williams of Stroud, Oklahoma, one sister and brother in law, Mary Linda and Lynn Pryor of Chugiak, Alaska, her father, Lee Meredith and wife Lillie of Stroud, Oklahoma, sister in laws and husband, Linda and Don Ahboah of Oklahoma City and Jane and John Davis of Prague, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren and husband, Courtney and Colby Vaughn of Chandler, Oklahoma, Samuel Beasler of Stroud, Oklahoma, Nicholas and Ashley Beasler of Chandler, Oklahoma, Katelyn Beasler of Chandler, Oklahoma, Allison and Seth Messer, Casey, Kendall and Kyle Ackerman of Stroud, Oklahoma and Madison and Carlee Jo Williams of Stroud, Oklahoma, great grandchildren, Colt and Drew Messer of Stroud, Oklahoma and other relatives and many friends.
